Binyamina Winery founded in 1952 with an annual production of 2 million bottles under the supervision of winemaker Sasson Ben-Aharon.

Carmel Winery the winner of 13 medals in the first International competition held in Israel. Internation Grand Campion of Terra/Ino2005 and International Champion Best of the Country Israel.

In the early1980's Golan Heights Winery's entered the market. They understood that the Israeli terroir was great for producing world-class wines besides sacramental ones. Prof. Cornelius Ough of the UC Davis Viticulture and Enology Dept. and Peter Stern, the Saratoga-based international wine consultant, were among the first to help the winery achieve unprecedented success and capture international attention.

About ten years ago the boutique wineries appeared on the horizon producing small amounts of high quality wine, shifting the industry further towards world-class wine production. Not only wine became worldly, but also the way it is consumed. Recently Carmel Mizrahi flew in from Austria 1,000 Riedel crystal glasses specially created to suit the individual properties of each wine that was served during the winery's 115th anniversary!
