Noah Winery producers of a large variety of Kosher wines in French winemaking tradition.
Talking terroir in Israel? You bet! Located between the sea and the desert this ancient wine-land has high mountains, low hills, plains and valley slopes that widely vary in soils derived from basalt, limestone and loess, heavy alluvial-clay as well as salty and sandy soils. A multitude of microclimates that differ mainly in elevation above sea level result in a natural environment that is exceptional in its biodiversity. These unique growing conditions support a broad spectrum of wine varietals and wine styles. The emergence of new, modern-styled fine wines that currently are being produced in Israel, show an unexpected level of quality, shattering more than a few misconceptions about Kosher wines.
Recanati Winery founded in 2000, received many gold and silver medals in European competitions.
