Weekend Paradise at the First Annual LA Wine Fest

September 16-17, Los Angeles - At 12:00 noon Saturday, the first annual LA Wine Fest welcomed to Vanguard Hollywood, Los Angeles a large crowd of wine lovers and stayed uncorked to indulge its visitors till six o'clock. The event benefited the Hollywood Wilshire YMCA and Hollywood Heritage

as dozens of wineries poured thousands of bottles of wine during the largest consumer-oriented wine festival in Los Angeles.

By early Saturday afternoon, needless to say, no one has been left thirsty, and wine lovers were feeling intense delight right from the beginning. The people pouring the wines, however, were looking a bit exhausted in no time!

“Saturday verged on being a bit too frantic,” said Scott Widitor, of Golan Heights Wineries, an importer who distributes wine throughout California. “We've participated in other events where we had one table and one person pouring wine. In this event, we couldn't keep up with the crush”, he said.

The LA Wine Fest provided many ordinary wine lovers a learning opportunity about new and interesting wines they might normally never discover.
